Water and Development (WADI) II IDIQ

Facilitate USAID Missions’ access to cross-cutting services in the water sector, including Data Collection and Management, Assessment and Analysis, Strategic Planning and Design, Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening, and Performance Monitoring and Evaluation for the implementation of their field programs.
The approach of the program will be driven by the tenets of integrated water resources management. Integrated water resources management is defined as the broad range of scientific and technical, economic, governance, and regulatory activities necessary to manage water resources for the maximum benefit of the users, host-country governments, and the environment. Integrated water resources management considers water resources in the basin as a whole and helps to ensure that demands for water are equitably met among human consumptive, industrial, ecological, and food production needs without significant negative impact on users and the environment.
