Regional Integration and Stronger Economies (RISE)

The objective of the RISE IDIQ program is to develop stronger economies in the East Africa region through improved market systems, increased cross border trade, more competitive industries and a more market-oriented policy environment. The RISE IDIQ Contract and subsequent task orders will be the principal mechanism for implementing activities under the scope of work. In support of the US government's recently announced Prosper Africa initiative, the RISE IDIQ efforts will result in increased economic development, more self-reliant countries, improved livelihoods, especially for the most vulnerable populations, and a more secure, integrated East Africa region that is less vulnerable to shocks.
