Provides delivery of pressurized and unpressurized cargo, return and disposal of pressurized cargo, disposal of unpressurized cargo, special tasks and studies, and ground support services for the end-to-end cargo resupply services to the ISS via commercial aircraft. Suplies delivered include air, water, food, clothing, medicine, spare parts, and scientific experiments for use in the U.S. and International Partner experimental modules. NASA has been directed to pursue commercial spaceflight options since the Commercial Space Launch Act of 1984 and Launch Services Purchase Act of 1990.
