Sub Description
Aries Charter Transportation Inc. will provide two (2) distinct and separate shuttle services. The Primary Shuttle Service (The Loop) will provide transportation from the G Lot to Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 5 and continue back in a loop to the G Lot. Transportation of Passengers utilizing services provided on the Loop lot shall be restricted to (1) TSA Employees that are (2) active, current enrollees of the Employee Parking Assistance Program. For the Higgins Road Shuttle, the passengers utilizing services provided by Aries Charter Transportation Inc. will be (1) TSA Employees being transported from the Higgins Road Administrative Offices to Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 5 with no other stops along the route.
2. Aries Charter Transportation Inc. will provide an on-site supervisor. On-site for the term of this contract, to include any and all option periods, shall mean an individual whose primary workplace will be within reasonable response time to ORD should an operations emergency arise. The on-site supervisor will be available via phone at all times OR will record a message on the Aries Charter Transportation Inc. phone directing incoming calls to either the Aries Charter Transportation Inc. Project Manager or a designated (local) back up should the on-site manager be off duty and unavailable. For the on-site supervisor, Twenty-four hour, 7 day-a-week emergency contact information for the named individual must be provided to the ALEX Program Manager, who shall in turn make that information available to the Transportation Security Administration s Contracting Officer, COTR, ORD Federal Security Director (FSD) and designated FSD staff.
3. Only licensed, professional drivers shall be used to operate vehicles owned or procured by the contractor or subcontractor. Documentation shall be produced to the ALEX Project Manager within forty eight (48) hours of either a verbal or written request. Verbal requests by the ALEX PM will be followed up with an email request to the Aries Charter Transportation Inc. Project Manager by the ALEX Project Manager in a timely manner.
4. Aries Charter Transportation Inc. shall provide the vehicles and drivers necessary to provide shuttle bus services from the EPAP Enrollee parking lot (currently referred to as Lot G) to O Hare International Airport, Terminal 1, Terminal 2, Terminal 3, Terminal 5, and returning to Lot G. The services are required on a 24/7 schedule as outlined within the Statement of Work. No change to the schedule will be made without the consent and authorization of the ALEX Program Manager. The Loop shuttle service shall be available only to TSA employees who are enrolled in the Parking Program, and only for the purpose of transportation to and from the designated parking facility and the TSA work location. A schedule of services shall be posted within each vehicle providing Loop shuttle services and signage shall be clearly visible on each vehicle providing Loop services. Aries Charter Transportation Inc. shall provide signage which satisfies the customer s reasonable requirements. The ALEX Program Manager shall determine what constitutes a reasonable request .
5. Aries Charter Transportation Inc. shall provide the vehicle and drivers necessary to provide shuttle bus services from 9377 Higgins Road, Rosemont, IL 60018, to O Hare International Airport, Terminal 1, Terminal 2, Terminal 3, Terminal 5, and return to 9377 Higgins Road. The services are required Monday thru Friday, 6:00AM to 6:00pm, departing two times per hour. The exception shall be the ten (10) major Federally observed holidays. On these days, the Higgins Road shuttle shall not be in service. Aries Charter Transportation Inc. shall provide signage which satisfies the customers reasonable requirements.
