Roof Replacement at WVSP Glenville WV (Gilmer County)

Background
The West Virginia State Police is soliciting bids to establish a contract for a lump sum amount for the roof replacement project at the State Police Glenville Detachment. The building is located at 4064 WV Hwy 5 E Glenville, WV 26351 and is in Gilmer County.

Work Details
The project involves the removal of an existing roofing, flashing, and trim, and installation of all new roofing, flashing, and trim.
The existing roof is a flat rubber roof with existing rooftop units including condensing units, makeup air units, heating units, exhaust fans, vent pipes, natural gas pipes, electrical conduit, roof drains, boiler vents, and roof hatches.
The contractor must meet mandatory requirements such as being authorized and trained to install the roofing system from the manufacturer and having a minimum of three years of experience removing roofing materials and installing the proposed roofing system.
The roofing material must be a thermoplastic membrane with replacement flashing and trim being sheet metal.
Additionally, the contractor must meet with West Virginia State Police staff and the roofing system manufacturer’s field representative at least one week prior to commencing work.

Period of Performance
All work must be completed within 150 calendar days upon receipt of Notice to Proceed.
Substantial completion must be achieved within 120 calendar days upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed, with final project completion within 30 calendar days thereafter.

The project will be performed at the State Police Glenville Detachment located at 4064 WV Hwy 5 E Glenville, WV 26351 in Gilmer County.
