Palestine Fish Hatchery Improvements

Background
The West Virginia Purchasing Division is soliciting bids on behalf of the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources, Palestine State Fish Hatchery to establish a contract for the Rehabilitation and Modification of twenty (20) existing ponds per the attached specifications and terms and conditions.

Work Details
The contract involves the rehabilitation and modification of twenty (20) existing ponds at the Palestine State Fish Hatchery. The work includes pond construction service, Palestine Fish Hatchery Pond Rehabilitation, and New Plumbing Construction.
The vendor is required to comply with all mandatory provisions identified in the solicitation. The contract also includes instructions for vendors submitting bids, such as reviewing documents thoroughly, mandatory terms, pre-bid meeting requirements, vendor question deadline, bid submission methods, bid opening details, addendum acknowledgement, bid formatting requirements, and communication limitations.

Period of Performance
The contract period starts from the date of encumbrance listed on the front page of the Award Document unless a 'Fixed Period Contract' or 'Fixed Period Contract with Renewals' has been checked.
If either option is checked, the vendor must not begin work until it receives a separate notice to proceed from the State.

The place of performance is at the Palestine State Fish Hatchery in Elizabeth, West Virginia.
