Background
The Washington State Department of Fish & Wildlife (WDFW) is seeking quotations for a timber harvesting project titled 'Scatter Creek Wildlife Area Oak Release and Prairie Restoration – North Unit'.

The goal of this contract is to harvest and deliver approximately 9040 tons of timber from the Scatter Creek Wildlife Area located in Thurston County, Washington. This project is part of WDFW's efforts to manage and restore wildlife habitats in the region.

Work Details
The selected contractor will be responsible for accessing, cutting, yarding, loading, and hauling logs from the Scatter Creek Phase 3 Timber Sale to designated delivery points. The work includes:
- Harvesting approximately 9040 tons of timber from one unit.
- Compliance with the Harvesting Services Contract (Exhibit D) and Road Summary (Exhibit E).
- All pre-haul maintenance, reconstruction, and new construction for each unit must be completed prior to haul unless otherwise approved.
- Log deliveries must be completed by October 31st, 2024, with all contractual obligations including road abandonment completed by December 1st, 2024.

Period of Performance
The contract period is expected to commence on September 23, 2024, and conclude on December 1, 2024.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Scatter Creek Wildlife Area located approximately 16.2 miles south of Olympia in Thurston County, Washington.
