ORCA Marketing and Creative Services

Background
Sound Transit is seeking proposals from firms to provide marketing and creative design consulting services for the ORCA transit card program. This initiative aims to enhance operational marketing support, develop informational campaigns, and facilitate new product launches.

Sound Transit, established in 1993, connects major population centers in King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties through a comprehensive transit system that includes light rail, bus rapid transit, and train services. The agency's mission is to connect more people to more places, serving over 3 million residents and facilitating 32 million rides in 2022.

Work Details
The selected firm will provide a range of services on a task order basis including:
- Marketing and advertising strategy development
- Product branding
- Creative content creation encompassing:
- 2D design
- Illustration
- 3D/motion graphics
- Video production
- Transit advertisements
- Printed collateral
- Copywriting.

The full scope of work is detailed in Exhibit B attached to the RFP.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for one year with the possibility of four one-year extensions at Sound Transit’s discretion.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily within the jurisdictions served by Sound Transit, which includes King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties in Washington State.
