K20 Ethernet Transport Services

Background
The Office of Financial Management (OFM) is conducting this procurement on behalf of the K-20 Education Network Program (K-20) to procure secondary Ethernet circuits for disparate sites designated by K-20 throughout Washington State.

The K-20 Education Network is the nation’s first high-speed, high-capacity network linking colleges, universities, K-12 school districts, and libraries statewide. It provides a dedicated, carrier-class network for video, communication, and data services to education facilities across the state.

Work Details
The contract will involve providing Ethernet transport services between multiple K-20 customer end sites and K-20 Node sites for integration onto the K-20 network. Bidders must have a minimum of two years’ experience providing similar services and must participate in the Schools and Libraries Program (E-rate).

The services include:
1) Installation of secondary Ethernet circuits;
2) Monthly recurring costs for bandwidth profiles;
3) One-time installation costs;
4) Identification of proposed K-20 Node Sites;
5) Indication of whether construction is required;
6) Confirmation of Last Mile ownership and delivery method.

Period of Performance
The term of the contract will be approximately one year beginning upon the last date of signature between the parties through June 30, 2026. OFM reserves the option to renew the contract for up to five additional one-year terms at its discretion.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations throughout Washington State as designated by K-20.
