Graphic Designer

Background
The Washington State Fruit Commission (WSFC) is issuing this Competitive Solicitation to procure a Graphic Designer to assist with marketing and promotion efforts for NW Cherries through various digital platforms.

The WSFC was established to promote Washington's soft tree fruits and stabilize the industry by increasing consumption both domestically and internationally. The commission is governed by a board comprising producers, dealers, processors, and representatives from the Washington State Department of Agriculture.

Work Details
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating various infographics, brochures, and point-of-sale materials. Specific tasks include:
- Designing and maintaining websites nwcherries.com and wastatefruit.com;
- Creating social media post templates/designs;
- Developing newsletter layouts;
- Producing various banners for retailers based on provided templates;
- Collaborating with a PR company to execute campaigns;
- Handling other miscellaneous design requests throughout the fresh cherry season.

The designer must have knowledge and experience in marketing agriculture and produce, as well as in developing marketing materials, web solutions, branding campaigns, and custom illustrations for clients in the food/agricultural sector.

Period of Performance
The contract term is twelve (12) months with an option to renew annually for up to two (2) additional years upon mutual agreement, provided the total expenditure does not exceed WSFC’s contract limit.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily in Washington State, specifically related to the marketing efforts of NW Cherries.
