DVA - Washington Soldiers Home - On-Call Architect - Orting

Background
The State of Washington, Department of Enterprise Services (DES) is seeking on-call architectural services for Project No. 2024-828 at the Washington Soldiers Home located in Orting, Washington. The services are managed and contracted through the Department of Enterprise Services (DES). The scope of work includes scoping/programming, budgeting, design, construction cost estimating, bidding, construction administration, closeout, and warranty support.
Potential projects include remodels/renovation, electrical, mechanical, controls, roofing, and multiple Tenant Improvements throughout the campus.

Work Details
The on-call campus architect(s) will provide architectural and engineering services for planned and unplanned projects implemented during the 2023-25 biennium. Specific potential projects at the DVA WSH Orting campus include a Site Master Plan Study, Skilled Nursing Facility Fire Sprinkler Riser Replacement, Roosevelt Barracks Roof Replacement, Administration Building Renovation and Laundry Building HVAC Repairs Addition, Asphalt Paving Throughout Campus, Maintenance Building Enclosures, Auto Security Gates, Cemetery Marker Upgrades, Tuckpointing and Brick Cleaning, Chilson Hall Upgrades, and Skilled Nursing Facility – Bathroom Fixtures Upgrades.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Washington Soldiers Home located in Orting, Washington.
