Background
The State of Washington, Department of Enterprise Services is seeking consultant services for Project No. 2024-729: SVH – Skilled Nursing Facility Replacement for the Washington Department of Veterans Affairs, Spokane Veterans Home. The current facility lacks in land, parking, and building space to accommodate the quality of life or the growing care needs for veterans.
The Department of Veterans Affairs aims to configure a new facility to provide memory care units and prioritize private or semi-private rooms for a more home-like setting.

Work Details
The scope of work includes selecting an architect for feasibility study services for the SVH – Skilled Nursing Facility Replacement located in Spokane, WA and surrounding areas. The consultant is required to provide a feasibility study in selecting a location meeting the Federal VA skilled nursing facility requirements.
Once a new location is determined, the DVA will submit a request for additional funds for design through construction. The submitting firms should have a strong background in the innovative design of skilled nursing/veteran facilities and federal requirements.
