DCYF Echo Glen Secure Facility Improvements-2023-296 G (2-1)

Background
The Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF) is issuing a solicitation for improvements to the Echo Glen Secure Facility. The project aims to enhance the facility's infrastructure and services, ensuring a safe and effective environment for its operations.

The estimated cost for this project ranges from $8,200,000.00 to $9,500,000.00.

Work Details
The contract involves various construction improvements at the Echo Glen Secure Facility. Specific tasks include but are not limited to:
- HVAC installation
- Plumbing upgrades
- Electrical work
- Structural steel installation
- Rebar installation.

Bidders must submit Subcontractor List Form A for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical within one hour of bid submission if their proposal exceeds $1 million. Additionally, Form B for Structural Steel Install and Rebar Install must be submitted within 48 hours after bid submission.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and will continue until completion as specified in the project timeline. The bids are due by 1:00 PM on May 6, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Echo Glen Children’s Center Maintenance Building located at 33010 SE 99th Street, Snoqualmie, WA 98065.
