Community Colleges of Spokane (CCS) is requesting proposals from qualified company to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide a Culinary Arts walk-in freezer/cooler at the Spokane Community College campus, building 1, R120, culinary arts kitchen lab.
Background
Community Colleges of Spokane (CCS) is seeking proposals for the provision of a Culinary Arts walk-in freezer/cooler at the Spokane Community College campus, building 1, R120, culinary arts kitchen lab. The purpose of this project is to enhance the culinary arts program by providing a comprehensive and collaborative approach to a newly remodeled, reconfigured walk-in freezer and cooler equipment, meeting functional, aesthetic, and efficiency goals.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the installation of a walk-in cooler/freezer combination with specific dimensions and materials. The contractor is required to provide preliminary services, establish a project schedule for approval by Spokane Community College, execute system enhancements and installation, comply with equipment specifications, and provide warranties.
Additionally, the contractor must meet minimum qualifications such as being licensed and bonded in the State of Washington, having a valid Certificate of Insurance (COI), filing intents, affidavits, and certified payroll forms to the Washington Department of Labor and Industries myL&I portal, providing project references and previous experience for a minimum of 5 years, and working closely on the design with culinary arts faculty.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is tentatively scheduled to begin on or must be performed between July 1, 2024 – September 1, 2024.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Spokane Community College campus located at 1810 N Greene St., Spokane, WA, 99217.
