Sealed bids will be received at the Douglas County Courthouse, Commissioners' Chambers, 203 Rainier Street PO Box 747, Waterville, Washington 98858 until 10:00 AM Pacific Time, on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at which time all bids received will be publicly opened and read in the Hearing Room as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard for:All labor, material and equipment necessary for the completion of the following work: New Goat, Sheep & Swine BarnDouglas County, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.Complete digital project bidding documents are available at the Douglas County webpage at www.douglascountywa.net/elected-offices/bcc/bids. ; A hard copy can also be obtained from the Douglas County CE Public Services Building (509.884.7173) at 140 19th St NW, Suite A, East Wenatchee, WA 98802. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid shall accompany all bids. All bids shall be marked SEALED BID FOR NCW FAIRGROUNDS NEW GOAT, SHEEP & SWINE BARN on the outside of the envelope.Bidders are advised to read all pertinent, plans, specifications, and provisions prior to submitting a bid.The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids for cause.
