A&E Sun Lakes Campground Renovation

Background
The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission is seeking a multi-disciplinary consultant team for the Sun Lakes Campground Renovation project, aimed at revitalizing the outdated campground located in Dry Falls State Park. The project will transition from its current schematic design state through to construction closeout. While initial bidding and construction administration are not included, these may be added later when funding becomes available.

Work Details
The scope of work includes a full renovation of the campground, which consists of: removing problematic trees, demolishing failing utilities, site grading, and installation of new utilities (sewer, water, electrical), roads, trails, parking areas, campsites with full hookups (51 RV sites and 21 tent sites), two new comfort stations, a contact station, landscaping, irrigation, and associated amenities.

The project aims to enhance park quality to meet modern recreational demands while accommodating ADA facilities. Deliverables include design development drawings (22"x34" hard copy), cost estimates, construction documents including specifications and drawings at various stages (30%, 60%, 100%), and assistance during the bidding phase.

Period of Performance
The anticipated schedule includes a Notice to Proceed on January 1, 2025; completion of 100% Design Development by April 1, 2025; submission of 30% Construction Documents by July 30, 2025; submission of 60% Construction Documents by October 30, 2025; and completion of all Construction Documents by June 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Sun Lakes Campground within Dry Falls State Park in Washington State.
