Sealed bids will be received by the City of Anacortes ( City ) until 1:30pm on February 25, 2025 at the office of the Clerk-Treasurer, Municipal Building, P.O. Box 547, 904 6th Street, Anacortes, WA 98221, for the A Ave/Pointe Water Booster Stations Generator Replacement Project - Installation, project #24-257-ERR-002. Bids are to be submitted only on the PROPOSAL FORM provided. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the outside clearly marked with the bid opening date and time, the bid title and number as it appears in this advertisement, plus the name and address of the bidder. Bids shall be addressed to the City Clerk, City of Anacortes, and 904 6th Street, PO Box 547, Anacortes, WA 98221. Background
The City of Anacortes is issuing this solicitation for the A Ave/Pointe Water Booster Stations Generator Replacement Project - Installation, project #24-257-ERR-002. The goal of this project is to replace existing generators at two water booster stations while ensuring minimal disruption to city services. The work will be performed in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Work Details
The project involves the removal of existing generators and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) from two pump stations and the installation of new Cummins generators, ATS, and Manual Transfer Switches (MTS) at each location. The City will provide the Cummins generators (1x 100KW and 1x 150KW). Specific tasks include:

1. Power Distribution:
- Provide temporary power and communications using contractor-provided temporary ATS and cables.
- Remove old ATS and install new ATS and MTS at each location.
- Install required mounting hardware, grounding for new electrical equipment, conduit, wire for new equipment, and perform trenching for underground work.

2. Generator Installation:
- Remove old generators using a crane; demo existing circuits needing replacement.
- Offload and install new generators with crane assistance, including traffic management if necessary.
- Install underground conduit and wire from MTS to generator.
- Facilitate startup with Cummins and ensure a turnkey handover to the City.

3. Wiring Devices:
- Install new circuits for battery chargers and block heaters with required supports.

4. Electrical Demolition:
- Ensure safe-off of electrical systems and remove unused hardware or wires.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be completed by December 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at two locations in Anacortes: 4155 San Juan Boulevard and 2205 37th Street.
