2025 Curb Ramp Replacement Project

Background
The City of Sequim is issuing a Call for Bids for the 2025 Curb Ramp Replacement Project. The project aims to enhance accessibility and infrastructure within the city by replacing curb ramps and installing necessary stormwater systems. Work Details
The contract involves the replacement of 61 curb ramps, installation of curb and gutter, stormwater infrastructure, and related asphalt restoration on select city streets. Specific work locations include:

- Washington St between 7th Ave and 5th Ave
- At 4th Ave, 2nd Ave & Seal St Park
- 3rd Ave between W Bell St & Alley
- W Cedar St at N 5th Ave, N 2nd Ave and Sequim Transit center
- W Hendrickson Rd at N Spencer Farm Pl & N 5th Ave.

The Engineer’s Estimate for this project ranges from $750,000 to $850,000.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be performed starting from the bid submission deadline on May 14th, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be conducted in various locations throughout Sequim, Washington.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit proposals using the provided Proposal Form and include a certified check, cashier's check, money order, or bid bond payable to the City of Sequim amounting to not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. The City encourages participation from disadvantaged business enterprises and ensures non-discrimination based on race, color, or national origin.
