Janitorial Services for the Department of Labor in the St. Thomas/St. John District

Background
The Government of the Virgin Islands, through the Department of Property and Procurement, is seeking bids for janitorial services for the Department of Labor in the St. Thomas/St. John District.

The goal of this contract is to ensure a clean and sanitary environment within the facilities operated by the Department of Labor, thereby supporting their mission to provide effective services to the community.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive janitorial services which include but are not limited to:
- Daily cleaning of offices, restrooms, and common areas;
- Dusting and polishing furniture;
- Vacuuming carpets;
- Mopping floors;
- Cleaning windows;
- Disposing of waste.

The contractor must ensure that all cleaning materials used are safe for humans and do not cause harm to foodstuff or equipment within the building. Additionally, all work must be performed in compliance with applicable safety regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for a period of one (1) year with an option to renew for an additional one (1) year, subject to the availability of funds.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within the St. Thomas/St. John District.
