Background
The Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR) is the primary state agency responsible for managing wildlife and natural resources in Virginia. The agency aims to maintain optimal populations of wildlife and provide recreational opportunities while ensuring safety in outdoor activities.

This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks to establish a contract for Magazine Fulfillment Services for the Virginia Wildlife Magazine, which has been published for 78 years with a current circulation of 28,000 per issue. The agency generates revenue through various sources, including magazine subscriptions, and aims to enhance its fulfillment processes to improve subscriber retention and customer service.

Work Details
The selected supplier will provide comprehensive magazine fulfillment services, including:
- Managing new subscriptions (1-year, 2-year, 3-year) via phone orders, mail orders, and online orders through the Go Outdoors Virginia platform.
- Processing renewals via phone orders, mail orders, and online orders.
- Maintaining an up-to-date subscriber database that includes new subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and expired subscriptions.
- Sending bi-monthly main files and supplemental subscriber label files to the magazine printer.
- Providing customer service support for existing and new subscribers.
- Sending invoices and renewal notifications via mail and email.
- Managing all subscriber payments processed through phone calls, mail, or the fulfillment provider's website.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and will be effective for an initial term as specified in the RFP with options for renewal based on performance evaluations.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily at the supplier's facilities with necessary coordination with DWR's operations in Virginia.
