Vdh-25-103-0092_Odw_Banz_Lead & Copper Rule Assistance To Waterworks

Background
The Virginia Department of Health Office of Drinking Water (VDH-ODW) is seeking to contract with experienced technical assistance providers to deliver services related to the Lead and Copper Rule (LCR) Training, Technical Assistance, and Sampling Video production for waterworks across Virginia.

This initiative aims to ensure compliance with the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) and Improvements (LCRI), enhancing public health by improving water quality.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for three main tasks:

1) **Lead and Copper Rule Training**: This includes preparing training materials, managing registrations, and providing nine live online webinars covering specific topics related to lead service line inventory, notification requirements, lead monitoring, and reporting.

2) **Technical Assistance**: The contractor will assist waterworks in preparing and updating lead service line inventories, establishing procedures for collecting service line information, and developing lead service line replacement plans. This task includes providing in-field assistance through demonstrations and consultations.

3) **Lead and Copper Sampling Video**: The contractor will script, develop, record, and produce a short video demonstrating proper sampling procedures according to federal and state requirements. The video must be accessible on multiple platforms for public use.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from March 10, 2025, through March 09, 2026, with the possibility of renewal for four successive one-year periods upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed across the Commonwealth of Virginia.
