UIFB# 156-25-134 Janitorial Services - Lynchburg Aviation

Background
The Commonwealth of Virginia, through the Department of State Police, is issuing this Unsealed Invitation For Bids (UIFB) to establish a term contract with a qualified firm for comprehensive Janitorial Services at the VSP Area Office located at 702 Hangar Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502.

The goal is to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the facility in accordance with specified standards.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, materials, tools, and incidentals necessary for cleaning the VSP location. The services will be provided two days per week on Tuesday and Thursday between 9:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M.

Special cleaning services may be requested as needed. The Contractor must maintain a level of service that meets or exceeds standards set by the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI). Specific tasks include:
1. Cleaning and polishing horizontal surfaces.
2. Vacuuming and mopping floors to remove dust and debris.
3. Cleaning restroom facilities including sinks, toilets, and urinals.
4. Maintaining stock of paper products in restrooms.
5. Removing trash from receptacles and ensuring cleanliness around the facility's exterior.
6. Providing emergency/special cleaning services upon request with prior approval from VSP.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence from the date of award and will last for one year with an option to renew.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the VSP Area Office located at 702 Hangar Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
