Term Contract for Landscape Design Professional Architectural/Engineering Services

Background
The Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) is seeking proposals for a Term Contract for Landscape Design Professional Architectural/Engineering Services.
The goal of this contract is to provide professional landscape design assistance for various small projects, thereby improving efficiency and reducing costs associated with advertising and developing multiple RFPs.

Work Details
The selected Offeror will provide a range of services including:
1) Preparing A/E cost estimates for proposed projects;
2) Complying with University initiatives such as Climate Action Commitment and Stormwater initiatives;
3) Assisting in large planning projects including campus infrastructure planning and strategic planning;
4) Providing Landscape Architect (LA) services which include site analysis, grading plans, planting plans, stormwater management plans, and construction administration;
5) Performing evaluations, feasibility studies, and code compliance investigations;
6) Preparing complete contract documents for small project designs.
The Offeror must have at least one full-time staff member who is a Professional Landscape Architect (PLA), horticultural experience on staff, and preferably LEED AP/Sustainable SITES expertise.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for one year with the option for three additional term renewals.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at any Virginia Tech owned, leased, or occupied property throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.
