State Farm Work Center Tile Floor Painting

Background
The Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC) is seeking a Small Business and Supplier Diversity (SBSD) certified vendor to perform cleaning and epoxy application services for the tile floors of four restrooms at the State Farm Work Center located in Goochland, VA.

The goal of this contract is to maintain the facilities in a clean and functional state, ensuring safety and hygiene for staff and visitors.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Prepare and clean the floors of four bathrooms (A1, A2, B1, B2), each approximately 190 square feet, for an application of light gray epoxy to cover the existing tile.
2. Supply all necessary materials and labor required for the project.
3. Strip and prepare the tile to ensure a good bonding surface for the epoxy.
4. Clean the surface thoroughly before coating it with epoxy.
5. Repeat this process a total of four times to ensure proper application and completion of the project in a timely manner.

The bid price must include any applicable freight charges for delivery to the State Farm Work Center.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be completed within 30 calendar days after receipt of order (ARO). A mandatory pre-bid conference will take place on April 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the State Farm Work Center located at 2841 River Road, Goochland, VA.
