Service Equipment for Radiology at HWDMC

Background
The Hiram W. Davis Medical Center (HWDMC) seeks to establish a contract with a qualified contractor for the maintenance of its radiology equipment. The goal is to ensure the equipment operates safely and efficiently through preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as software updates, in alignment with the agency's mission to provide quality healthcare services.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools, travel parts, and materials for maintaining and repairing the radiology equipment listed in Attachment A. Key responsibilities include:

1. Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on specified equipment.
2. Inspecting all electrical components and reporting hazardous conditions.
3. Providing on-call emergency services within a 24-hour response time.
4. Conducting thorough inspections and safety tests of mechanical parts.
5. Delivering written reports of services within five business days post-service, including any additional repair needs beyond the scope of work.
6. Scheduling services by appointment during business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday).
7. Maintaining sufficient repair parts inventory or access within 24 hours to minimize downtime.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of one year with options for four successive one-year renewals.

Services will be performed at Hiram W. Davis Medical Center.
