S.P.Morton Playground Installation RFP 2025-004

Background
Franklin City Public Schools (FCPS), a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Virginia, is seeking proposals for the installation of two playground sets at S. P. Morton Elementary School.

The goal of this contract is to enhance the recreational facilities available to students and ensure a safe and engaging play environment. The playground sets will be manufactured by GameTime, a subsidiary of Cunningham Recreation.

Work Details
The selected contractor will be responsible for demolishing the existing playground and installing two new playground sets as specified in the RFP.

The contractor must be a certified GameTime installer, hold a Virginia contractor's license appropriate for the contract value, possess a Certified Playground Safety Inspector certification, demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience, and maintain proper insurance coverage.

The proposal must include a detailed project schedule outlining staff employed and their working hours.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be executed during the week of April 13 – 20, 2025, pending available funding.

The exact duration for project completion will be proposed by the Offeror in their submission.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at S. P. Morton Elementary School located at 300 Morton Street, Franklin, VA 23851.
