RFQ C00125 - Property Maintenance Services

Background
The City of Staunton is seeking qualified contractors to provide property maintenance services across various locations within the city. This initiative aims to ensure compliance with local ordinances regarding property upkeep, particularly concerning overgrown vegetation and debris removal.

Work Details
Contractors will perform property maintenance services as directed by the City, which includes:

1) Cutting overgrown lawns (grass exceeding 10 inches in height).
2) Removing grass, weeds, and unmanaged growth.
3) Clearing trash and debris from properties.

Contractors must be available to perform requested work within 2-3 days of notification. They are responsible for providing all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and supervision. Tipping fees for debris disposal will be billed to the City at cost, with documentation required. Work assignments will depend on the City's estimated needs, and contractors must submit before-and-after photos with invoices. The City may award contracts to multiple vendors as needed.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for one year from the award date, with options for four additional one-year renewals based on mutual agreement between the City and successful bidders.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations throughout the City of Staunton.
