RFP 25-06 On-Call Marketing and Social Media Support

Background
The Town of Vienna Economic Development Department is seeking to engage an on-call marketing and communications firm to enhance its marketing efforts through various campaigns and materials.
The Town is located in Northern Virginia, approximately 14 miles from Washington D.C., and serves a residential community with a diverse business base, including independent retailers and the headquarters for Navy Federal Credit Union.

Work Details
The selected firm will provide the following services:
1. **Social Media Graphics**: Design campaign graphics for events such as Economic Development Week; optimize graphics for platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn; collaborate on a content calendar; and create engaging graphics to foster audience interaction.

2. **Digital Content Creation**: Develop engaging web content for the Explore Vienna VA website, design content for the Town Business Matters e-newsletter, and create digital advertisements.

3. **Print and Digital Ad Support**: Produce print ads for local media, create digital ads aligned with campaign goals, and develop compelling ad copy.

4. **Marketing Print Material and Collateral**: Design brochures, flyers, posters, banners, and promotional items to support departmental initiatives.

5. **Project Management and Collaboration**: Coordinate closely with the Economic Development Department to manage timelines and incorporate feedback.

6. **Additional Support**: Provide strategic advice on creative direction, stay updated on industry trends, and report on marketing effectiveness.

Period of Performance
The contract will cover a period of one year from the date of award until June 30, 2025. It may be renewed for up to four additional years in one-year increments based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily within the Town of Vienna, Virginia.
