Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center Lobby Renovation

Background
The Prince William County Government is seeking bids for the renovation of the public lobby at the Prince William – Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center (ADC). This project aims to enhance the facility's functionality and aesthetics, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

The renovation is part of the County's ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving its facilities for effective service delivery.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Renovation of the existing public lobby at the ADC located at 9320 Lee Avenue, Manassas, VA 20110.
2. Contractor must provide daily work logs detailing material deliveries, manpower, and work activities.
3. Work hours are from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM with no weekend work allowed.
4. A designated Quality Control officer must be onsite at all times, and a full-time Superintendent fluent in English is required.
5. All work areas must be kept free of debris daily, with a dumpster provided by ADC for waste disposal.
6. Compliance with OSHA safety regulations is mandatory, including wearing hard hats, safety vests, and goggles.
7. The contractor must ensure no communication with ADC inmates and maintain a drug-free environment on-site.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to achieve Substantial Completion within 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Final Completion, including punch list work, is required within an additional 60 consecutive calendar days.

The work will be performed at the Prince William – Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center located at 9320 Lee Avenue, Manassas, VA 20110.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a Bid Bond for bids over $150,000 (5% of total bid amount). They must also submit a Contractor's Qualification Statement demonstrating experience in similar projects and pass background checks conducted by local law enforcement for all employees working on-site.
