Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center Lobby Renovation

Background
The Prince William County Office of Procurement Services is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the renovation of the lobby at the Prince William – Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center (ADC).
The project aims to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of the existing public lobby, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
This renovation is part of the County's ongoing efforts to maintain and improve its facilities for better service delivery.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Renovation of the existing public lobby at the Prince William - Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center located at 9320 Lee Avenue, Manassas, VA 20110.
- Contractors must provide daily work logs detailing material deliveries, manpower by trade, and work activities performed.
- Work hours are scheduled from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM with no weekend work allowed.
- A designated Quality Control officer must be onsite at all times, and a full-time Superintendent fluent in English is required.
- All work areas must be kept free of debris daily, with a designated area for dumpster placement provided by ADC.
- Compliance with OSHA safety requirements is mandatory, including wearing hard hats, safety vests, and goggles.
- The contractor must provide first aid stations, drinking water, sanitary facilities, and secure storage for materials.
- Communication with ADC inmates is strictly prohibited; all correspondence regarding work-related items should go through FCM’s Project Management.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period will begin upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe that aligns with project specifications as outlined in the bid documents.

The renovation will take place at the Prince William – Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center located at 9320 Lee Avenue, Manassas, Virginia 20110.
