Park Pool Concession Building Siding Project

Background
Frederick County Parks and Recreation is seeking a qualified contractor to install new siding and gutters at the Clearbrook and Sherando Park Pool concession buildings. The goal of this contract is to enhance the facilities by improving their exterior appearance and functionality through the installation of new materials.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Install new siding over existing siding.
- Remove and replace any rotten wood on fascia, rakes, freeze boards, and add new cladding.
- Install new framing and plywood as needed for house wrap and siding.
- Apply Tyvek house wrap before installing vinyl siding.
- Install 1/4 foam insulated panels over existing wood siding at the building's bottom.
- Install smooth coated .019 aluminum cladding on all fascia, rake, and freeze boards.
- Add aluminum capping along the bottom of walls as necessary.
- Install Z-flashing above doors or windows as needed.
- Install Invisvent solid soffit panels in white color for soffit area siding.
- Install CertainTeed Main Street vinyl siding in Desert Tan color for Clearbrook and Sterling Gray color for Sherando.
- Install CertainTeed Board and Batten S7 vinyl siding in both gables and triangle areas on front and back of buildings in matching colors.
- Include all accessories associated with siding installation, ensuring color coordination.
- Install a fan vent on the upper right side of the building.
- Install new 6” - .032 baked aluminum enamel gutters with hidden hangers and 3” x 4” downspouts in white for Clearbrook and black for Sherando.
- Apply sealants to newly installed siding to seal joints and terminations.
- Remove all job-related debris from the worksite.

Period of Performance
The work is to be completed by April 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Clearbrook Park Pool and Sherando Park Pool concession buildings located in Frederick County, Virginia.
