Montgomery County Public Schools Operations Center Window Replacement

Background
Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) is seeking qualified contractors to establish a term contract for window replacements at the MCPS Operations Center in Montgomery County, Virginia. The goal of this contract is to ensure the timely and efficient replacement of windows to enhance the facility's functionality and aesthetics.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the window replacement project. This includes obtaining all required permits at no additional cost to MCPS. The specifications include:

1) Compliance with all federal, state, and local laws;
2) Submission of a Schedule of Values for progress payments;
3) Final payment contingent upon submission of a fully executed building permit and final inspection documentation;
4) Adherence to quality requirements as outlined in the specifications prepared by ZMM Architects & Engineers;
5) Use of vinyl windows as specified in Division 08 - Openings (085313);
6) Completion of work by July 24, 2025;
7) Liquidated damages of $500 per day for delays beyond the specified completion date.

Period of Performance
The contract work must be completed by July 24, 2025.
