Lenn Park Parking Lot and Trail Maintenance

Background
The Culpeper County Purchasing Department is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to establish a firm fixed price contract for the paving of existing gravel trails and selected gravel parking lots at Lenn Park.
The goal of this project is to make the facility and its amenities ADA accessible for parkgoers.
The work will be conducted at Lenn Park, located at 19206 Edwin Way, Culpeper, VA 22701.

Work Details
The contractor will furnish all materials, labor, equipment, machinery, and accessories necessary for paving the existing gravel trail network and selected gravel parking lots at Lenn Park.
Specific tasks include:
- Paving of existing gravel trails
- Paving of selected gravel parking lots
- Ensuring that the facility and its amenities are ADA accessible
- Coordination with the Parks & Recreation Department to maintain operations during construction
- Placement of temporary pedestrian traffic control devices to protect the public during work
- Removal of all debris from the site upon completion and legal disposal off-site.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence after April 14, 2025, with no specific end date provided in the solicitation.
The contractor must coordinate their schedule with the Parks & Recreation Department to ensure minimal disruption.
