Background
The Gloucester County Courthouse Clerk's Office is seeking to replace the existing non-functional HVAC system in Suite 327.
The project aims to ensure efficient climate control within the courthouse, which is crucial for maintaining a comfortable working environment for staff and visitors.
The contract will involve the removal of an outdated 4-ton Carrier heat pump and its replacement with a new 4-ton Trane roof-top split system unit, ensuring compliance with modern standards and operational efficiency.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, expertise, and supervision necessary to complete the following tasks:
- Remove the existing 4-ton Carrier heat pump from the roof of Suite 327.
- Install a new 4-ton Trane roof-top split system unit.
- Remove existing BACnet controls and install a Honeywell model #RTH9580WF01 thermostat compatible with Honeywell Home Total Connect Comfort software.
- Ensure that all systems are started up and made operational, including verifying efficient operation and refrigerant charges.
- Provide training for Facility Staff on the use of the new equipment.
- Supply one year’s worth of air filters for the new units.
All work must be conducted after normal business hours (after 5:00 PM) or on weekends to minimize disruption.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon issuance of a Purchase Order serving as Notice to Proceed and must be completed within twenty-five (25) calendar days from that date.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Gloucester County Courthouse located at 7400 Justice Drive, Gloucester, VA.
