Background
The Apple Pie Ridge Elementary School Roof Replacement project is initiated by Frederick County Public Schools, located in Winchester, Virginia. The mission of the school district is to provide a safe and conducive learning environment for students. The goal of this contract is to replace the existing roof system at Apple Pie Ridge Elementary School to ensure the building's integrity and safety for its occupants.

Work Details
The project involves approximately 42,410 square feet of roof system recovery. The scope includes:
- Installation of new cover board insulation.
- Installation of a new single-ply 60 Mil reinforced EPDM ballasted membrane roofing system.
- Provision of all related flashing and sheet metal accessories necessary for the roofing system.

Period of Performance
The work must be substantially complete by May 30, 2025, with final completion required by June 27, 2025.
