IFB 159444 Uniform and Mat Rental

Background
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB # 159444) for Uniform and Mat Rental Services to support the Jamestown Scotland Ferry Facility located at 16289 Rolfe Highway, Surry, VA.
The goal of this contract is to provide qualified firms with the opportunity to supply uniform rental and laundering services, ensuring that employees are equipped with clean and appropriate attire for their roles.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide uniform rental services including laundering for approximately 74 salaried employees and 15 hourly employees.
Specific requirements include:
- Eleven (11) complete sets of uniforms for salaried employees, including Navy Industrial Pants, Navy Blue Short Sleeve Shirts, Charcoal/Gray Short Sleeve Shirts, Class 2 Hi Vis Long Sleeve Shirts, and Light Blue Short Sleeve Shirts.
- Five (5) complete sets of uniforms for hourly employees with similar specifications.
- All uniforms must be new and maintained in good condition throughout the contract.
The contractor will also provide weekly pickup and delivery of cleaned uniforms.
Mat rental services will include delivery, pickup, cleaning, and maintenance of mats that are 3' x 5' in size with specific material requirements.
The contractor must ensure proper fitting and alterations as needed without additional costs.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence from the start date specified in the Notice of Award and will last for two years, with options for renewal.

The services will be performed at the Jamestown Scotland Ferry Facility located at 16289 Rolfe Highway, Surry, VA.
