HVAC Replacement- Surface Water Treatment Plant- Lab AC units

Background
The Gloucester County Surface Water Treatment Plant (WTP) lab, located at 8929 Reservoir Ridge Road, requires additional cooling and heating to supplement the existing HVAC system.

The County intends to add new Mini Split unit(s) to enhance the Lab's climate control capabilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, expertise, and supervision necessary to furnish and install new HVAC systems for the WTP Lab. This includes a complete turn-key project with all incidentals needed for completion.

Specific components include:
- 1 Trane/Mitsubishi MXZ-SM48 - 4-ton Mini Split Heat Pump Outdoor Unit
- 2 Trane/Mitsubishi PLA-A24EA8 - 2 Ton Ceiling Cassette Indoor Air Handlers
- 1 Trane/Mitsubishi PAC-MKA32BC - Branch Box
- Installation of refrigeration piping insulated with 1” thick white PDM insulation
- Ductwork modifications
- Electrical panel breakers and connections
- Startup of systems
- Training for WTP Plant operators on equipment use.

The contractor must also obtain all necessary building permits and ensure OSHA compliance during operations.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall complete all installation services within thirty (30) days after receiving a Notice to Proceed, which will be issued once materials are received.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Gloucester County Water Treatment Plant, located at 8214 Reservoir Ridge Road, Gloucester, Virginia 23061.
