Heat Pump System Replacement

Background
The Commonwealth of Virginia, through the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, is seeking to replace an existing heating pump system.
The agency's mission includes ensuring environmental quality and sustainability, and this contract aims to enhance the efficiency and performance of heating systems within their facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will remove and demolish the existing heating pump system and replace it with a brand-new heat pump system.
The specifications for the new system include:
- HVAC unit type: Wall Mount Heat Pump
- Efficiency ratings: 15 SEER, 14.3 SEER2
- Capacity: 3 Ton
- Voltage: 230 Volt, single Phase, 60Hz
- Electric Heat: 10 Kw with Circuit Breaker
- Vent Package: Standard Fresh Air Damper (Intake Only)
- Filter: 1" MERV2 Washable Filter
- Supply Outlet: Standard Fresh Air Damper (Intake Only)
- Coil and Unit Coating Options: Standard Copper/Aluminum Coils
- Accessories and Control Options: Low Ambient Control (LAC)
- Cooling Capacity in BTUH: 36,000
- Heating Capacity in BTUH: 33,000.
Additionally, the contractor must perform System Acceptance Testing to demonstrate system performance including temperature control, outdoor air intake, operation of compressor and fans, and condensate drainage. The results of testing must be properly documented.

Period of Performance
The work is to be completed within 1-2 weeks after receipt of order (ARO).

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Department of Environmental Quality in Virginia.
