Hardware Maintenance Service

Background
The State Corporation Commission (SCC) is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide on-site computer technology hardware maintenance services. This contract aims to ensure that computers (both desktop and laptop), printers, scanners, and other office equipment that are beyond their manufacturer's warranty periods receive necessary maintenance.

The SCC's mission includes overseeing the regulation of various sectors in Virginia, and maintaining operational efficiency through reliable technology is crucial to their function.

Work Details
The Supplier shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, and incidentals for on-site computer technology hardware maintenance service. Specific tasks include:

1. On-site Maintenance Service for all Covered Equipment listed in Exhibit A.
2. Electronic status updates to the SCC Help Desk within 4 hours after any change in the disposition of Covered Equipment.
3. Replacement of non-repairable printers with Like Equipment.
4. Detailed electronic status updates for all maintenance services performed including problem description, actions taken, components installed, hours worked, ITD Ticket Number, and Supplier’s ticket number.
5. Response time of two business hours for maintenance service requests and satisfactory resolution or replacement within four business hours.
6. 24/7 dispatching service with accurate date and time stamping for service requests.
7. Compliance with OEM standards for components used in repairs.

Period of Performance
The contract term is one year with four one-year renewal options available.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the SCC Building located at 1300 East Main Street, Richmond, Virginia 23219 or the SCC office at 1111 East Main Street, 18th Floor, Richmond, Virginia 23219.
