Background
George Mason University (Mason) is the largest public research university in Virginia, serving over 40,000 students.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to establish a term contract for Managed Print, Copy Center, and Mail Services Solutions across Mason's Fairfax campus and regional campuses including SciTech, Front Royal, Loudoun, and Mason Square.
This initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency while supporting sustainability goals.

Work Details
The contractor will provide an integrated solution for fleet/managed print services, copy center management, and mail management.
Key components include:
1. Managed Print Services: Lowering total ownership costs, reducing energy consumption, streamlining operations, right-sizing the MFD fleet, automating billing with Mason’s Banner system, and integrating document handling solutions.
2. Copy Center Management: Operating copy centers at Fairfax and other campuses with competitive pricing and sustainable practices.
3. Mail Operations: Efficient mail delivery strategies including parcel handling, automated tracking systems for accountable mail, recycling initiatives, and compliance with USPS regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for five (5) years from the date of award with five (5) additional one (1) year renewal options.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at George Mason University's Fairfax campus and all regional campuses including SciTech, Front Royal, Loudoun, and Mason Square.
