Background
The Glen Alden Traffic Engineering Shop project is being issued by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). The project involves the construction of a one-story approximately 1,400 SF interior tenant fit-up within the existing warehouse, including metal stud/GWB/insulated wall assemblies, insulated ceiling assembly, and associated electrical, mechanical, and fire sprinkler work. The site will remain occupied and operational during construction.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the construction of a one-story approximately 1,400 SF interior tenant fit-up within the existing warehouse. This involves metal stud/GWB/insulated wall assemblies, insulated ceiling assembly, and associated electrical, mechanical, and fire sprinkler work.
The project has a time for completion of 90 calendar days with working hours from 8AM – 5PM, Monday to Friday. Bids are due on April 3, 2024, with bid opening scheduled for April 4, 2024. Contractors may arrange site visits prior to the bid due date by contacting Matt Fitzgerald. The successful bidder will need to register with VDOT in order to gain access to the site via electronic entry.

Period of Performance
The project has a time for completion of 90 calendar days with working hours from 8AM – 5PM, Monday to Friday.
