Full Line Custodial Supplies

Background
The Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools (WJCC) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a full line of custodial supplies and equipment for various locations across James City County. The WJCC Public School System serves approximately 12,000 students and employs around 1,700 staff members across multiple educational facilities. This contract may also be utilized by affiliated agencies such as James City County and the James City Service Authority.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a comprehensive range of custodial supplies and equipment, including but not limited to:
- Dilution control chemicals and delivery systems
- Green certified products meeting standards from EcoLogo and Green Seal
- Industrial paper products and dispensers
- Private label products
- Hard floor care supplies (cleaners, strippers, finishes, etc.)
- Carpet care products (shampoos, spotters, etc.)
- Restroom care supplies (cleaners, sanitizers, etc.)
- Waste receptacles and liners
- Janitorial machines (autoscrubbers, vacuums, etc.)
- Institutional laundry and kitchen supplies
- Industrial tools for cleaning activities.

Additionally, the contractor must provide delivery services to 19 building locations within the district on an as-needed basis. All deliveries must be made during specified hours and include proper labeling. The contractor is also responsible for replacing defective products at no additional cost.

Period of Performance
The initial contract term is two years with an option for four one-year extensions based on funding availability.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within James City County, Virginia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a strong presence in the janitorial supply industry and possess a distribution model capable of delivering products. They must also comply with local business licensing requirements and provide proof of insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation.
