Background

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, supervision, safety signs, and materials to supply, package, and deliver firewood FOB destination to First Landing State Park. The firewood must consist of hardwoods only and be kiln dried or heat treated per USDA guidelines. Bundles must consist of a minimum of 7 sticks cut at minimum .75 cubic feet per package and be prepackaged in a sturdy bag with handle.
The contractor must guarantee delivery within five calendar days of initial request and coordinate with park staff for offloading. Additionally, the contractor must meet specific requirements related to product treatment and packaging from a USDA inspected facility.

Period of Performance
The initial period of the contract will be one year with the option for four additional one-year renewals. Sealed bids will be received until June 3, 2024, 1:00 PM EST.
