Background
The City of Virginia Beach is seeking proposals for a one-year contract with four optional one-year renewals to provide a fireworks display for the July 4th celebration.
The goal of this contract is to deliver a high-quality, engaging fireworks show that enhances the community's celebration of Independence Day.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a 20-minute fireworks show that consists of four distinct scenes: an opening, the body, a false finale, and a grand finale.
Each scene will feature mini-finales that include special effects designed to create a crescendo leading up to the grand finale.
The show must maintain continuous action with no dead air time and should primarily consist of high-level fireworks, complemented by various low-level special effects for audience enjoyment.
Additionally, the show must be fired electronically and coordinated with music.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over one year, with the option for four additional one-year renewals.
The specific performance date for the fireworks display is July 4th each year.
