CML Concrete Curing Chamber

Background
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide a Concrete Curing Chamber, including calibration & preventative maintenance services, for delivery to VDOT Materials Division in Sandston, VA. The solicitation is set-aside for award priority to DSBSD-certified micro businesses or small businesses when designated as 'Micro Business Set-Aside Award Priority' or 'Small Business Set-Aside Award Priority' accordingly in the solicitation.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide one (1) Darwin Chambers MC060 Concrete Curing Chamber or equivalent, including options for water spray/fogging system, virtual touchscreen, installation and start-up, and freight. Additionally, detailed 7-year annual preventative maintenance and calibration services are required.

The equipment shall be new and delivered within sixty (60) days after receipt of purchase order by the Contractor to VDOT Materials Division in Sandston, VA. All material shall have the manufacturer’s standard warranty and all labor shall be fully guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year following completion date of installation.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period includes the delivery of equipment within sixty (60) days after receipt of purchase order by the Contractor to VDOT Materials Division in Sandston, VA. The warranty period for all material is one (1) year following completion date of installation.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at VDOT Materials Division, 6200 Elko Tract Road, Sandston, VA 23150.
