B76208-VR, 307 Carys Chapel Rd. Housing Rehabilitation

Background
The County of York, Virginia is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB No. B76208-VR) for the rehabilitation of a housing unit located at 307 Carys Chapel Rd., Yorktown, VA.

The project is funded in part by the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development, aiming to improve housing conditions within the County.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide comprehensive housing rehabilitation services including but not limited to: labor, materials, dumpster services, and trash removal.

All work must comply with state and local codes and be completed in a workmanlike manner. Specific tasks may include painting, window replacement, siding installation, flooring upgrades, cabinet installation, and fixture replacements.

The Contractor is responsible for maintaining a clean work environment and performing final cleanup. All warranties must be submitted to the Homeowner with copies provided to the York County Housing Division before final payment. The Contractor must procure all necessary permits (building, HVAC, plumbing, insulation, electrical) and obtain inspections as required. Energy Star certified appliances are required for all installations.

Period of Performance
The project is expected to be completed within 60 calendar days from the notice to proceed.
