Asphalt Repairs and Paving for Hangar, Apron, and Site Parking Lot

Background
The Virginia Department of Aviation (DOAV) is issuing a contract for asphalt repairs and paving for the hangar, apron, and site parking lot located at 5702 Gulfstream Road, Richmond, VA 23250. The goal of the contract is to ensure the maintenance and safety of the airport's pavement infrastructure in compliance with federal and state regulations.

Work Details
The project consists of comprehensive asphalt repairs and paving work including:
- Pavement repair, crack sealing, rejuvenator application, restriping of pavement markings, milling & paving ramp, restriping ramp lines, and installing sealant between building and adjacent asphalt.
- All work must conform to the latest edition of Virginia Department of Transportation 'Road and Bridge Standards' and FAA Advisory Circular 150/5380-6C guidelines.
- The contractor is responsible for locating existing utilities before commencing work and must notify DOAV 48 hours prior to moving into the next phase of construction.
- Areas disturbed outside construction limits must be restored to their original condition.

Period of Performance
The contract work is scheduled to commence on March 24, 2025.
