Background
The City of Virginia Beach is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the Asphalt Concrete Profile Resurfacing, Reconstruction, and Various Maintenance project. The goal of this contract is to maintain and improve the city's road infrastructure through various asphalt and concrete services.

Work Details
The work includes but is not limited to:
- Milling and placing of asphalt concrete on city streets
- Rubberized crack filling
- Profiling
- Shoulder and driveway restoration
- Concrete excavation
- Cave-in repairs
- Thermoplastic pavement markings
- Street/highway reconstruction
- Curb and gutter construction
- Textured stamped crosswalks
- Handicap ramp installation
- Various asphalt patching
- Other related items incidental to roadway maintenance/construction.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified period as outlined in the solicitation, with a closing date for bids on August 9, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
