West Jordan Recreation Center Schematic Design

Background
The City of West Jordan is seeking proposals from qualified architecture firms for the Schematic Design and Programming of a new Recreation Center to be located at Ron Wood Park. This initiative is part of the city's efforts to develop a comprehensive program document under the Zoo, Arts, and Parks (ZAP) process to secure grant funding for the construction of the facility.

The proposed Recreation Center aims to serve as a hub for recreational activities, youth programs, fitness, and social events, enhancing the quality of life for residents and aligning with the city's long-term goals for health and community engagement.

Work Details
The selected architecture firm will be responsible for providing Schematic Design and Programming services for the new West Jordan Recreation Center. This includes developing a comprehensive program document that outlines community needs and potential benefits of the facility.

Additionally, the firm will engage in professional engineering services including civil engineering, landscape consulting, architectural design/consulting, inspection certification services, testing/geotechnical services, hazardous materials service, and commissioning services.

Period of Performance
The contract period begins upon award and continues until the completion of the Schematic Design and Programming phase as outlined in the proposal requirements. Specific timelines will be established during contract negotiations.
