UDOT- Region 1 Furnish, Install & Removal of Pavement Marking Paint

Background
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for Region 1 to furnish, install, and remove pavement marking paint. The purpose of this solicitation is to enter into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to provide pavement marking services, including UDOT approved pavement markings installed, removed, and/or replaced in accordance with UDOT standards when UDOT Maintenance cannot perform this work with their own workforce. It is anticipated that this IFB will result in multiple contract awards (primary, secondary) for UDOT Region 1.

Work Details
The contract requires the provision of pavement marking services, including the installation, removal, and replacement of UDOT approved pavement markings in accordance with UDOT standards. The contract will be awarded based on the unit price of the three most commonly used tasks, and the lowest total of all three will be awarded the primary per county. End users will select the Primary awarded contractor first, unless that contractor cannot respond to the need. If the Primary awarded contractor cannot respond to the need, the end user shall move to the Secondary awarded contractor, etc. until the needs are met.
